Program Description

International students can apply for two consecutive graduate certificate programs at the same time, to create a two-year Graduate Certificate Bundle. Students can choose from a selection of Sheridan College's graduate certificate bundles where students may qualify for up to a three-year post-graduate work permit.

Sheridan College’s Advertising – Account Management program gives students the skills they need to contribute to a professional advertising team. In this program, students will learn to plan, develop and create complete digital and traditional advertising campaigns. Students will graduate with confidence, ready to contribute their skills to a professional advertising agency. Specifically, students in this program will learn to:
  • Produce and deliver professional campaign pitches.
  • Develop and communicate a product’s brand identity.
  • Solve complex marketing communications challenges.
  • Manage brand activities through social media messaging.
  • Design creative advertising.
  • Plan media selection and placement for traditional and digital media platforms.
Sheridan College’s Marketing Management graduate certificate program gives students the digital marketing skills employers want and need. Throughout this program, students will learn to:
  • Apply search engine marketing, social media promotion and marketing analytics principles to optimize their organization's marketing efforts.
  • Learn basic marketing graphics skills to create support materials such as brochures, newsletters and web page updates.
  • Write marketing and communications plans.
  • Learn the key elements of digital marketing
  • Develop the skills to generate online content and navigation
  • Develop basic marketing graphics skills so students can develop marketing brochures and other printed materials
  • Conduct marketing analytics and use it as background for a marketing plan
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and marketing communications plans
  • Get prepared for the challenges of global marketing.
