Program Description

The Human Resources Management Post-Baccalaureate Diploma allows students to prepare for a career in human resources management. Students who graduates from this program will:

  • Analyze and solve management problems.
  • Effectively analyze and strategically apply human resource management theories and principles at the generalist and specialist level.
  • Evaluate and propose how to effectively leverage the role of human resources in achieving the operational and strategic goals of an organization.
  • Identify pathways and obstacles to change in individuals, teams, organizations and recognize underlying processes, contents and outcomes in ethical decision making.
  • Develop the skills and abilities in each specialized human resource management area and effectively apply them in managing human resources in organizations.
  • Appraise recommendations to both familiar and new human resource management situations.
  • Design and develop programs that will help human resources function effectively and efficiently in organizations using skills and abilities developed in each human resource management specialized area.
  • Demonstrate professional writing and oral presentation standards and practice.
  • Obtain the requisite knowledge and skills to pass the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) towards earning a designation as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
