Opening in 2024, the Steeles Avenue location will include the Conestoga Centre of Excellence in Healthcare Education. The Centre of Excellence is designed to support the student experience by providing high-quality learning experiences, student support, collaboration and networking. Programs offered at this location include Enhanced Practice for Internationally Educated Nurses, Personal Support Worker (PSW), Nursing Leadership and Healthcare Management, Health and Social Systems Navigation, as well as Regulatory Affairs.

Why Conestoga College - Milton

  • Campus: Located on four acres of land with easy access to the 401, Conestoga’s new Milton campus is approximately 30,000 square feet and will support 2,000 full-time students, as well as continuing education and corporate training to meet the specific needs of the community.
  • Program Offerings: Opening in 2024, the campus will deliver post-secondary programming in areas such as justice services, supply chain management, project management, mobile solutions, business analysis, quality assurance, and applied manufacturing management.

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) allows students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience.

The IRCC has published a preliminary list of programs that are eligible for the PGWPP. Based on our current knowledge, which is subject to change, these programs align with five field of study categories:

  • healthcare
  • science/technology/engineering/mathematics (STEM)
  • trade

    Cooperative education (or co-operative education) and internships are methods of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience.     The Milton - Steeles Avenue campus does not offer on-campus housing.
