1-Term International Incorporated Masters (IIM) - Continue to Master of Arts - Peace, Conflict, and Development

Master's Degree

Program Summary

The Pre-Masters program is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programs at the university. This could be due to the grades achieved in their bachelor’s degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor degree, or having a different background.

Upon successful completion of the Pre-Masters program, students will continue onto their chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.

The MA in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies provides an advanced understanding of the inter-relationships between conflict, development, security, and governance in developing, fragile, transitional, and/or conflict-affected regions and countries. Students will gain the understanding and skills needed to pursue or develop a career in this major area for international, national, and local policy and practitioner communities. They will be equipped to work across many sectors including international development, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, post-conflict recovery, humanitarian aid, and natural resource management.
