Program Summary

The International Incorporated Master in Energy and Sustainability is a one term or two term course, leading onto a range of postgraduate degree courses with The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee. The CEPMLP is an internationally renowned graduate school in the field of international business transactions and natural resources and energy law and policy. Students will study the law and governance of strategic decisions on complex economic, environmental, and technological questions around sustainability. The relationship between energy, the environment, and climate change and how they relate to sustainability throughout all sectors in society will be examined. They will learn to design and plan interventions for creating change to promote greater sustainability across different scales.

Students will learn to analyze, evaluate, and critically review theory and policy debates relating to sustainability. They will also be able to draw on international perspectives and examples of best practice in relation to methods of evaluation and assessment of sustainability.
