Program Summary

Students will be ready to jump straight into the first year of their Oceanography, Ocean Exploration or Ocean Science degree. They will benefit from extra support with study skills, and they will learn how to adapt to the United Kingdom educational system. Graduates will learn to collect and analyze data from the marine environment. The next step is to evaluate this data to better understand the complex ecosystems in oceans.

The Bachelor of Science in Ocean Science and Marine Conservation offers an integrated approach to understanding the oceanographic processes that support life in oceans, how marine ecosystems function and how marine activities can be managed sustainably. Graduates will learn about the policy structures designed to protect marine ecosystems and oceans, and be primed with the skills and enthusiasm to confidently start a job in marine conservation management and scientific research.
