Program Description

HIC offers University First Year studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto the second year of their University of Hertfordshire progression degree.

With input from professionals, students will investigate the tools used by some of the world’s most successful engineers and producers. Using industry-standard studios and technology, they’ll learn techniques to record, process and mix their work to the highest professional standards. Students will also gain an in-depth understanding of acoustics, studio design and installation, monitoring, webcasting and advanced digital signal processing techniques.
