Arts - Direct Entry - International Year One (UTP Stage II)

Program Summary

UTP Stage II: Arts is equivalent to the first year of University of Manitoba's Bachelor of Arts degree. Faculty of Arts graduates acquire the oral and written communication skills, research abilities and critical thinking skills that are highly sought after by today’s employers in a variety of fields.

For students who meets the direct entry English language requirements and the relevant academic requirements, they will be eligible for direct entry to UTP Stage II.

Upon successful completion of UTP Stage II, students transfer into the second year of their degree at the University of Manitoba, to continue with their Bachelor of Arts program in one of the following areas of study:
