Program Description

CINY’s associate Culinary Arts program prepares students for a variety of careers, from bakers and line cooks to the corporate environment of hotel food service, catering operations or food service for schools. Other graduates become front-of-the-house managers or choose to open up their own establishments. Instruction covers cooking and baking techniques as well as industry trends such as how food is grown and processed, nutrition and food handling and safety.
