Program Description

With an AAS degree in Medical Administration, students will acquire the necessary knowledge and competencies, including administrative, interpersonal, and technical, to function as effective professionals in a variety of healthcare practices and organizations. Entry-level positions are possible in: hospitals, home health care agencies, government health care agencies, outpatient care centres, physician offices, managed care groups, insurance companies, claims and reimbursement organizations, long-term care facilities, behavioural health organizations, and nursing care facilities. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration will further broaden employment possibilities in the sector.
