Through the health care management major, you will learn more about the infrastructure, finances and operations of health care systems and what it takes to keep them running smoothly. 

The health care management field can positively impact individual health and on the administration and cost of health care. Health care management professionals plan, direct and coordinate medical and health services and must adapt quickly to changes in health care laws, regulations and technology. Graduates have pursued professional positions at hospitals, long-term care communities and managed care organizations, while others have found positions in finance, marketing, insurance companies, quality management and human resource management.
