The Bachelor of Business at UOW is designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with applied learning, enabling students to acquire practical experience while developing professional networks. During the first year of study, students undertake subjects across all foundational business disciplines, establishing a broad understanding of the challenges and practices faced by organisations in a global context. Following this, students may elect to pursue a major in one or more principal areas of business, thereby deepening their expertise in a specialised field. Alternatively, those who choose not to complete a major engage with advanced-level business subjects, ensuring the development of extensive, cross-disciplinary knowledge that supports versatility and adaptability within diverse professional setting
