Program Summary

The University of Sheffield’s Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering an excellent course – offering candidates the option to graduate, or continue engineering education with an Master of Science (MSc) or switch to a Masters in Engineering (MEng) depending upon performance.

In the first two years graduates will study the core subjects that they need to be a successful mechanical engineer and the University of Sheffield will embed that knowledge by applying it to open-ended projects, typical of the engineering industry. In the third year, they will have the opportunity to tailor their degree in a way that supports their career aspirations by choosing from a wide selection of engineering modules.
