Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons)

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) is a 3-year degree approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). It is designed with help from industry experts and offers four areas of specialization:

• Data Management

• Game Computing

• Mobile Computing

• Network Computing

Students can choose one of these areas to focus on and gain the skills needed for today’s tech industry. After completing seven semesters, students will go for industrial training during the second semester of their final year. During this time, students will get real work experience in a company. They must write a report about their work, and the company will also evaluate their performance. This training is important for meeting MQA’s requirements. In the final year, students will also complete a research project. This helps them apply what they’ve learned, solve real problems, and show that they can work independently. It also builds their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which improves their chances of getting a good job after graduation.
