Program Description

The LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology is a three year degree that combines legal studies with an exploration of different aspects of criminology, including crime, criminal justice and criminal behaviour. With specific modules focusing on criminology, students' studies will not only give them a great legal qualification, but they will also open up fascinating career avenues within the criminological world too. Studying this degree will also mean students are prepared in part for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE 1) or to progress onto the Bar Practice Course (if they wish to qualify as a barrister).

With the LLB Law and Criminology qualification, students will also explore social responses to crime and criminality, and look at the processes and consequences of law-making, law-breaking and law enforcement.
