Program Summary

The Bachelor of Music provides a firm foundation to nurture students' creative calling. They will be able to choose either a Bachelor of Arts in Music or a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in any of the following: Music Education, Music Composition, Music Performance or Music Marketing. Concentrations are declared after graduates have been admitted and have met with their academic advisor.

A degree in Music from the University of Texas at San Antonio provides a rich and fulfilling contribution to the greater community and is a nationally recognized program accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Students will follow the footsteps of many of today’s greatest musicians as they pursue a career as a performing artist, sound engineer, composer, music educator, or as a music marketing professional.
