Program Summary

Nursing is the science of professional caring and offers opportunities to promote and restore health, prevent illness and alleviate suffering. In this degree, students will develop key skills for excellent nursing care.

Students will develop their skills through clinical placements across the health sector and they will have opportunities to undertake rural, remote and overseas placements.

The standard 3 year program is available in Trimester 1 only.

The Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 intakes are only available to students with one of the following qualifications:

  • Diploma of Health Care (from Griffith College)
  • Diploma of Nursing from an accredited Australian Education Provider and unconditional registration (without restrictions) as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Note that registration under the AHPRA Pandemic Response Sub Register is not accepted. NOTE: Trimester 1 2023 intake offered at Logan campus only, Trimester 2 2023 intake: all campuses offered.
  • Internationally Qualified Nurses
