Bachelor of Science - Mathematics

The mathematics curriculum is both focused and flexible, with options that will prepare you for careers in government, business, industry and education, or further study in graduate or professional school.

Students may choose to major in mathematics without choosing a concentration.  This allows students to take courses from the full range of courses offered by the department, while still developing areas of expertise in three course groups (chosen by the student from: Algebra, Analysis, Applications, Discrete Math, Math Education, Finance, Geometry/Topology, Numerics, and Statistics).
