Program Summary

The Plant Science major will enable students to explore the intricacies of plants through the study of their diversity, growth, development, environmental interactions, and various economic uses. They will gain knowledge of advances in molecular biology, plant ecology, systematics, physiology, botany, genetics, agriculture, ethnobotany and biotechnology. The curriculum is designed to offer a focus in areas of emphasis, or allow students to custom-design a program of studies to suit their needs.
