Program Summary
Social Work is both the art and the science of providing services designed to assist people individually and in relationship to their environment. It is a growing and challenging profession committed to the improvement of the quality of life for individuals, families, communities and society.
Make a difference in people’s lives. UWindsor's social work grads are in high demand and students will find the work meaningful and rewarding. Students will make friends for life in this tight-knit program based in a modern, landmark building just steps from the waterfront. Students will have lots of opportunities for hands-on learning including placements in year 4, joining clubs, and volunteering in the community.
Become an effective advocate with this program that combines social work and disability studies: the only joint Social Work and Disability Studies program in North America with the ability to graduate with BSW . Students will get lots of hands-on experience in the field and have the opportunity to join clubs. This is a program where students can learn to make a difference in the world.
