Program Summery

Sheridan College's Business Administration – Finance program offers students skills that are highly valued by employers in this competitive marketplace. In the program, students will get the fundamental skills they need to find finance jobs. Students will learn to process financial records, analyze reports and network in business. They will also get hands-on experience as they study investing, financial statement analysis and more. With each students' well-rounded knowledge, they will be prepared to work at a financial institution or in a finance department by graduation. Students can easily transfer into Sheridan's three-year Business Administration – Finance program at any time during their studies.

This advanced diploma also offers co-op opportunities, advanced concepts and real-world case studies. It gives students a chance to choose elective courses that can help them meet requirements to become a Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP). In addition to the tuition fees, students should be prepared to pay for textbooks, supplies and professional certification if they wish to pursue industry licensing courses, such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC). Additional fees can range from $200–$1,200 per course and can be changed any time by the external institution.
