Founded in 1967, Sheridan has grown from a local college of 400 students to one of Ontario’s leading postsecondary institutions, educating approximately 22,500 full-time studies students every year on three campuses in three Ontario cities – Oakville, Brampton, and Mississauga. An award-winning institution, Sheridan attracts students from across Canada and around the world. Sheridan’s 175,000 alumni play a critical role in shaping the future of society in the fields of arts, business, community service, health, technology, and the skilled trades.
Located in Brampton, one of the fastest-growing and most ethnically diverse communities in Canada, Davis Campus is Sheridan’s largest campus, home to more than 12,000 students. This bustling, innovative and multicultural campus is home to our applied health, community services, engineering and technology programs. In 2017, Davis officially opened its new Skilled Trades Centre. This three-storey, 130,000-square-foot facility is the new home for our skilled trades and apprenticeship programs, which were previously offered in Oakville.

- Inspiring creativity: Sheridan's Creative Campus means student's courses are designed to give them problem solving and critical thinking tools throughout their program, top to bottom. They’re the first undergraduate school to offer a creativity course available to any student in any faculty. A Creative Campus also means increasing collaboration between students and professors within programs and across faculties. Through creative collaboration students develop awareness of new possibilities and gain the ability to solve old problems with new thinking.
- Location: Brampton is fast becoming known as a creative and cultural hub in the Greater Toronto Area. Young and diverse, Brampton boasts 175 ethnic backgrounds and a great mix of restaurants, boutiques and festivals. With plenty of lakes, beaches, and parks, and 267 km of trails, there are also hundreds of reasons to get outside.

Post Graduation Work Permit
18 out of 70 programs are eligible for Post Graduation Work Permit.
The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) allows students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience.
The IRCC has published a preliminary list of programs that are eligible for the PGWPP. Based on our current knowledge, which is subject to change, these programs align with five field of study categories:

Accommodations
Students need to plan their accommodations well in advance of their arrival as all accommodation options fill up quickly, well before the start of the semester.
On-Campus Residence Accommodations
On-Campus residence accommodations are provided per discretion by the school.
Off-Campus Accommodations
The local area has a variety of off-campus rental housing options including single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.
Homestay
There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and our partners do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
