Computer Science (M.S.)-STEM

The computer science graduate program is tailored for students who seek to explore both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field at an advanced level. While introducing emerging areas of computer science, the program places a strong emphasis on fundamental principles and concepts rather than just programming techniques. It equips students for professional roles in designing and developing software systems, databases, operating systems, artificial intelligence, expert systems, graphics, simulations, and algorithms for both discrete and continuous structures, addressing challenges in science and business. The curriculum is structured to help students cultivate the skills necessary for leadership roles in business, industry, and government within computer science or related technology-driven fields. Additionally, the program prepares educators to teach computer science at the middle school, high school, and two-year college levels.​
