Cybersecurity (M.S.)-STEM

The MS in Cybersecurity program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of security-related topics through practical, hands-on learning. It aims to develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals to address the increasing demand in industries, academia, and government institutions. Additionally, students will have the valuable opportunity to engage in research on relevant security projects.

To earn the MS in Cybersecurity degree, students must complete a total of 30 credits. Those with little or no background in Computer Science or Information Technology may be admitted with the requirement of taking one to four additional courses in Computer Science Fundamentals to bridge the knowledge gap. The curriculum blends core courses covering essential cybersecurity principles with elective options, allowing students to specialize in areas of their interest. Graduates will be well-prepared to enter the workforce or continue their academic journey.
