Program Summary
Students will Identify and apply appropriate, flexible and professional procedures, when undertaking film, video or visual media projects. They will be able to demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge when developing professional quality film, video or visual media. They will apply problem solving techniques to manage issues during the production process, and determine appropriate new and emerging technology suitable for use in film, video or visual media. During the process of the degree, students will complete film, video or visual media projects, adhering to set deliverables, timelines and expectations. The course will work to help students with ethical and cultural awareness during the development of film, video or visual media content. Students will investigate the impact and influence that visual media, society and culture have on the determination of media and messaging. Communicate ideas professionally, utilizing appropriate tools, techniques and visual supports.
