Diploma of Health Care (075186J) + Bachelor of Nursing (002436M)

2-Year Undergraduate Diploma

Program Summary

The Diploma of Health Care will help students study the core concepts of the anatomy and physiology of the human body and the ways in which the body and mind develop and change across the lifespan. Theoretical content in the classroom is brought to life through simulated practical activities in laboratory settings. Theoretical models are explored through interactive workshops, and while simulated, real health service settings provide practical, experiential learning.

Nursing is the science of professional caring and offers opportunities to promote and restore health, prevent illness and alleviate suffering. In the Bachelor of Nursing degree, students will develop key skills for excellent nursing care. They will develop their skills through clinical placements across the health sector and they will have opportunities to undertake rural, remote and overseas placements.
