Students graduating from this combined program may receive both the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biological Sciences in five years, as compared to the six years needed to complete the degrees separately. This is accomplished by offering a supervised and seamless transition from the Bachelor of Science curriculum to the Master of Science curriculum that is designed to better enable graduates to prepare for competitive positions in today’s job market and/or admission to doctoral level graduate or professional schools.
