Earth and Environmental Science (MS)-STEM

The graduate programs in Earth and Environmental Science are designed to support students in advancing their knowledge across various disciplines within the field, whether for professional growth, personal enrichment, or preparation for careers in education and industries requiring specialized training. Students pursuing studies in the arts and sciences have the chance to delve deeply into Earth and Environmental Science through this program. With a flexible curriculum that incorporates elective courses, they can tailor their studies to specific fields of interest, including (1) environmental geology, (2) metamorphic and igneous geology, (3) sedimentology, stratigraphy, and paleobiology, or (4) oceanography and marine geology. Those focusing on oceanography and marine geology will complete a significant portion of their coursework at various New Jersey Marine Science Consortium locations during the summer months.​
