Environmental Engineering (B.S.)

Environmental Engineering provides a strong foundation in the sciences while equipping students with the technical expertise needed for careers in consulting, industry, and government. This comprehensive program covers key areas such as civil and chemical engineering, water and wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, air pollution control, and environmental health.

From the first year, students are introduced to environmental engineering design, with advanced design skills developed throughout junior and senior coursework. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, culminating in team-based projects that address real-world challenges. These projects integrate economic considerations, system operation and maintenance, process stability, and regulatory constraints, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for impactful careers in the field.
