Extended Accelerator Program - Bachelor of Business Administration - Economics

4-Year Bachelor's Degree

Program Summary

The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program that includes an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Gonzaga University campus and the Spokane area through its contextual curriculum. Upon successful completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.

The objective of the Bachelor of Business Administration - Economics program is to give students a broad background and knowledge of domestic and international economic systems that are essential for business managers in today’s competitive global economy. Graduates can apply economic theory to problems relating to market structures, resource markets, employment, and fiscal and monetary policies. Economists occupy a wide range of positions in profit and non-profit enterprises as well as in government. The economics concentration is highly recommended for pre-law students, as well as for those aiming for careers in banking, finance, government, or industry.
