Global Achievement Academy 2 - Bachelor of Arts - Emergency Management

The Global Achievement Academy 2 (GAA2) is designed to give them a fast start at the University of Central Florida. The GAA2 is a balanced first-year program for international students with good English-language skills. It pairs immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support. As a student in the GAA2, they will get:

• The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs.
• Earns students a minimum of 23 credits in their program.
• Access to courses exclusively for international students.
• English-language help with words they need to know for their classes.
• A mix of classes with international and U.S. students.

The BA in Emergency Management prepares students to become a future emergency management leader through providing a well-rounded curriculum that covers the fundamental skills, theoretical understanding and knowledge needed to succeed in the industry. Their coursework will offer a deeper understanding about how to support organizations and communities in the preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery efforts of disaster situations while emphasizing ethical decision making, resilience and social responsibility.
