Global Achievement Academy 2 - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Business Economics - Business Analytics

The Global Achievement Academy 2 (GAA2) is designed to give them a fast start at the University of Central Florida. The GAA2 is a balanced first-year program for international students with good English-language skills. It pairs immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support. As a student in the GAA2, they will get:

• The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs.
• Earns students a minimum of 23 credits in their program.
• Access to courses exclusively for international students.
• English-language help with words they need to know for their classes.
• A mix of classes with international and U.S. students.

The BSBA degree in Business Analytics, a new degree offered through the Department of Economics, provides students with the foundational education required to work in this fast-growing field of business.

The raw inputs to business analytics are data from accounting, finance, and marketing as well as human resources, and management in general.

Business analytics is a relatively new sub-field of data science that is informed by computer science (specifically, algorithmics, databases and programming), but also numerical methods from applied mathematics, as well as techniques from statistics and econometrics. Other subfields of data science include data mining and machine learning as well as statistics and econometrics.  Biostatistics is a subfield of data science, too, as is sports analytics.
