Global Achievement Academy 2 – University Integration at University of Central Florida (UCF) is a two-semester program that:

  • Helps international students transition academically and culturally.

  • Earns students a minimum of 21 credits in their program.
  • Offers additional academic tutoring and English-language support.

The Burnett School of Biomedical Science at University of Central Florida offers Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Sciences. This BS degree program meets all the admission requirements for medical/health professional schools and also prepares students for entry into the technical work force in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, as well as to support academic research endeavors in federally funded research programs.

The undergraduate program offers courses in the biomedical sciences, including anatomy, molecular biology, cell biology, neurobiology, physiology, microbiology, and immunology. Students may enrich their education by participating in one of several student organizations & by working with faculty on directed research. The diverse research interests of the faculty in the department create a very rich environment for interdisciplinary research. The faculty has expertise in a wide range of biomedical science specialties, including microbiology, immunology, infectious disease, cardiovascular biology, neurobiology, molecular biology, molecular parasitology, biotechnology, cancer biology, and nanoscience. The program encourages and strongly supports participation of undergraduates in the exciting research being conducted by the faculty in cancer, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, and infectious diseases. 

Neuroscience is one of the tracks within BS in Biomedical Sciences degree program.
