The FIU Global First Year Program combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of a student’s degree with additional support services, tailored instruction based on their academic and language level, and cultural experiences to ensure their future success. The Global First Year experience goes beyond academic, language, and cultural growth by offering the Career Accelerator program. This program is specifically designed for international students and includes four semesters of professional development and career guidance, skills-based training, exclusive internship opportunities, unique workshops, real-world experiences, and cross-cultural group work. A degree in international business will equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in the rapidly growing global trade market, providing them with insights into winning strategies used by multinational corporations to navigate cross-border political, legal, economic, social, and financial issues.
