The FIU Global First Year Program combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of a student’s degree with additional support services, instruction tailored to their academic and language level, and cultural experiences to ensure their future success. The Global First Year experience goes beyond academic, language, and cultural growth, offering the Career Accelerator program to help students gain valuable professional skills for a successful career.

The Career Accelerator, designed specifically for international students, includes:

Four semesters of professional development and career guidance

Skills-based training and opportunities for exclusive internships

Unique workshops, real-world experiences, and cross-cultural group work

With a degree in Information Systems, students can utilize their technical skills to help organizations solve business challenges and compete more effectively. Graduates will have the confidence and leadership skills to communicate complex technologies in a dynamic business environment.

Upon completing a BBA with a degree in Information Systems, students will be able to:
