Global First Year (2-Semester) - Bachelor of Science - Computer Engineering

The Global First Year Program at Florida International University combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of the degree with additional support services, tailored instruction, and cultural experiences to ensure students’ future success. In addition to academic, language, and cultural growth, the program also includes the Career Accelerator program, which helps students develop valuable professional skills for a successful career.

Florida International University’s ABET-accredited program in computer engineering emphasizes engineering concepts and design in the rapidly expanding field. Whether students aim to enter practice or pursue advanced study through a master’s degree, they can achieve their goals with FIU’s bachelor’s degree.

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data, design systems to meet desired needs within constraints, work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, and apply probability and statistics to computer engineering applications.
