Program Summary

Program Description

Sheridan College's Professional Accounting graduate certificate program is a first step to becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant. Once students have successfully completed this program, they can apply to CPA’s Professional Education Program (PEP) — the final step before they write their Common Final Exam (CFE). Even if students don’t have an accounting background, they will soon be on their way to becoming a CPA.

CPA’s preparatory courses are rigorous and challenging to complete. By taking the Professional Accounting program, students get the equivalent courses in a supportive classroom setting. Students will also benefit from the best of the college experience — practical learning, one-on-one attention and small classes.

When students graduate from the Professional Accounting program at Sheridan, they will receive the following ACCA Qualification credits:

  • Business and Technology (BT)
  • Management Accounting (MA)
  • Financial Accounting (FA)
  • Corporate and Business Law (LW)
