Health Science (B.S.)-Direct

Health Science (B.S.) program offers a strong academic foundation for students planning to pursue graduate studies in a wide range of healthcare fields, such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing, nutrition, physical therapy, and physician assistant programs. The curriculum is structured around three key components: a health core focused on wellness, disease prevention, and health promotion; a science core that fulfills the prerequisites for admission to medical and other clinical graduate programs; and a liberal arts core that fosters critical thinking and supports well-rounded personal and intellectual development. A key feature of the program is the clinical internship, which provides students with valuable hands-on experience. Working closely with faculty advisors, students select internship placements from a list of approved sites, ensuring that the experience is both enriching and aligned with their career goals.
