Information Technology (B.S.)

The BS in Information Technology program prepares students to address IT challenges within business systems. Students gain problem-solving, writing, and communication skills, along with the technical knowledge required for the job market. The program offers six concentrations: database technology and programming, health information technology, cybersecurity, web application development, network and telecommunications, and cloud computing. It emphasizes developing both technical expertise and the interpersonal skills needed for management roles. Graduates are anticipated to contribute to enhanced organizational goals, advance to higher levels of responsibility within their careers, uphold ethical, social, and professional standards in line with industry associations, collaborate effectively in team settings, and continue to develop through self-directed learning, ongoing education, and professional growth.
