Kinesiology (B.S.)

The Kinesiology (KINE) undergraduate program at George Mason University is a rigorous, science-focused degree aimed at equipping students with a solid understanding of health, wellness, and performance throughout the lifespan. The program offers a multidisciplinary, evidence-driven approach to human movement, combining classroom instruction, laboratory work, and hands-on learning experiences. Students can choose between two concentrations: Strength and Conditioning and Allied Health Sciences. Students studying kinesiology are trained to apply scientific methods to enhance the health, movement, and performance of individuals and groups they work with.
