Program Description

The MA in English prepares students to be scholars, writers and editors and to work in a variety of professions, including government, public humanities, libraries, museums, advertising, fundraising and public relations. Options for the culminating experience offer students flexibility to meet their professional and academic needs.

Students develop and hone skills in oral presentation, writing and critical thinking while exploring social, historical and cultural contexts.
