Master of Business Administration (MBA): (Artificial Intelligence)

Master's Degree

Program Summary

Studying an MBA can transform the way students think and the way they work, change the way others see them and open up new leadership and management opportunities. This full-time MBA enables students to develop the critical and reflective strategic leadership skills they need to succeed in an uncertain world, challenging their assumptions, cultivating flexible thinking, effective decision making and responsible management.

Hertfordshire MBA students will be supported by first-class facilities, including the virtual learning environment, StudyNet, which provides access to other students, lecture notes and over 100,000 e-books and e-journals. Students will also benefit from teaching and supervision by expert research-active staff, several of whom are world leaders in their field and act as consultants with leading organizations such as Roche, Camelot and BDO Hayward.

At every stage, students will have the opportunity to engage with business, learn through practical, work-based assignments and apply their knowledge in real-world settings in their role. Learners also have the opportunity to undertake a six-month applied business/enterprise experience, where they’ll set up and run their own business or social enterprise. While this supports their learning, they’ll be encouraged to develop and explore their business ideas and apply it directly to their career aspirations.

Specialization in Management Consultancy will allow students to focus on strategic analysis and decision making in the context of changing industries and structures in which management consultancy may thrive or perish, and the uncertain business environment in which management consultancies compete.

It examines theoretical and management issues underpinning a wide range of strategic debates relevant to management consultancy organizations. An evaluation of differing approaches to strategy-making is explored in order to provide an informed and critical view of creative strategies. Other than this, students will learn the tools of analysis to support professional and career development within management consultancies.

With an MBA, students can take a life-changing professional journey and expand their mind, skills, career potential and professional network. They can challenge their assumptions and gain a critical, reflexive approach to strategic leadership and management.
