Program Summary

Program Description

A master’s degree in public health helps students develop the advanced critical thinking, administrative and problem solving skills they need to prepare them to lead public health teams, initiatives and research in the UK and internationally. Students apply contemporary public health theory to practice, developing a critical understanding of complex global public health issues, and translate theoretical scientific knowledge in public health into tangible sustainable interventions for improved health.

The two-year master’s degree with applied practice offers students the chance to enhance their qualification by spending one semester completing a vocational internship, research internship or an opportunity to study abroad.
