The course has been co-designed with industrial engineers from across the UK and Europe from Toyota, CoorsTek, SLE different Rolls Royce divisions have contributed to verification and validation of the programme and module learning is industry relevant.
The overall consensus from industry was a warm welcome to this type of course, in particular the course would support students' learning in Artificial Intelligence, mechatronics, PLC, advance manufacturing technology from lasers to printing methods, and robotic technology and practical issues of health and safety, risk, security, inclusivity and ethics of the technology.
