Program Description

Students pursuing a master of science in bioengineering at CU Denver will gain advanced training in bioengineering working with top researchers in the field. Students have a choice of training pathways in basic research, clinical applications or commercialization of medical technologies and will find themselves prepared for bioengineering careers in industry, government or academia. 

The master of science program is designed to be completed in 18 to 24 months. Academic instruction in the graduate program focuses on developing core competencies in life sciences, quantitative methods, technology and research methods.
