Master of Science - Computer Science

The Master of Science with Major in Computer Science (MSCS) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) prepares students for careers in industry in various positions such as Software Engineer, Software Architect, Big Data Engineer, Data Analytics Engineer, Database Engineer, Mobile Application Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, and Senior Application Developer. Students in the program build a foundational background in computer science theory, software development and computer systems, and are exposed to the latest advances in various areas including machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, advanced programming methodologies, database systems, cybersecurity, cryptography, wireless communications and networking, IoT and smart systems, bioinformatics, multimedia systems, mobile application development, and healthcare informatics.

Important Note: Florida Atlantic University will charge a $30 USD application fee, but this fee will be paid by students on their own at the post submission stage.
