Program Summary

A Master of Science Environmental Science degree is focused on students’ interest in the natural sciences, mathematics, law, economics and health. They get to tailor the degree with a variety of interdisciplinary courses to choose from, plus the option of taking a thesis, non-thesis or research option.

The program provides the critical analysis skills necessary for applying current scientific, technical and regulatory rules and policies to the environmental challenges faced by public agencies and private industry in a global community and marketplace.

Students will be able to:
  • Apply the scientific method through research.
  • Master scientific writing skills.
  • Develop presentation skills.
This program is housed within the College of STEM. The College prepares students to find creative solutions to problems. Curiosity and analysis merge, creating students ready to figure things out and then use that knowledge to make things better.
