Program Summary

The Master of Science in Mathematics Education is the only graduate degree of its kind in the city of San Antonio. This program prepares them to pursue mathematical leadership in high school or college teaching, or to enter doctoral programs in mathematics education. Students are also introduced to the breadth of mathematics education research.

The program graduates teach in a variety of districts in San Antonio, the Alamo Colleges, and even here at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The will provide an interactive and immersive experience to support students through a productive career in mathematics education.
