Program Summary

The Master’s Accelerator Program (MAP) is a two-semester program exclusively offered to aspirational international students. MAP students benefit from wrap-around support and language for discipline-specific purposes. The program curriculum includes advanced writing, public speaking and research instruction; each course is designed to help ensure student success at Adelphi. The small class sizes, hands-on and interactive programs and unique curriculum are designed to help students progress seamlessly into their master’s degree program.

The Master of Public Health program has been developed with a broad, multidisciplinary perspective. Professional education will empower graduates to enhance both public health infrastructure and the health of communities, thanks to:
  • A wide range of skills and tools necessary to work in the field of public health.
  • The integrated, evidence-based core and foundational courses.
  • A focus on both current and emerging key areas of public health.
By the time students graduate, they will be prepared to take on an important role as a manager, researcher, advocate, or director in public health organizations.
