aster’s degree in Higher Education equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for both entry-level and mid-management roles within higher education administration. Graduates are prepared to work in various departments, including student life, student housing, career services, multicultural centers, student unions, alumni relations, advancement offices, academic advising, international student services, financial aid, and business affairs. Additionally, the program offers a student affairs track that aligns with the Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) guidelines for graduate programs in student affairs, ensuring that students meet industry standards and expectations in this field.

The College of Education is ranked 1st in the North Texas region among public graduate schools, 3rd across all public graduate schools in Texas, 68th among public graduate schools nationwide, and 89th overall in the U.S. according to U.S. News & World Report.​
